Content Made to Make Your Little One Happy

Our exclusive content truly captures the enchanting bond between caregivers and their children as they sing and read in their native language. You'll feel as though you're experiencing the same precious moments you would have with your own child, only from a different language and culture.

Caregivers put a little extra magic in their voices when they are speaking to their little ones.

You have probably heard a caregiver change their voice when talking to their little one. Most people call it baby talk and there is an actual scientific reason adults naturally do it. The scientific term is infant-directed speech and what you are actually doing is using simplified grammar, higher pitch, repetition, shorter phrases, and positive emotional tone. Using baby talk makes it easier for babies and toddlers to learn language, holds their attention, and tells them that the adult is communicating directly to them.

The combination of these factors provides a learning experience that’s tailored to your little one’s ability and brings a cultural element unlike any other.

Here’s how we get caregivers involved in creating our unique content.

The smallStories Project

Developing culturally relevant content in true native language, we co-create stories with caregivers from around the world. This content is currently featured in our Language Acedemy.

Mommy & Me Recording

To ensure we get the best possible infant-directed speech, our caregivers record singing and reading directly to their little ones. This content is currently featured in The smallTalk App.
